Finally completed my BIO PROJECTS!!!!

Today, I’m so happy ler. 'Cause I finally completed my bio project (on insects and plants) together with my group members (HuiYee, CheeWei and KitYee). Plus, i also completed my Chemistry holiday assignment today...... After finishing my insect’s project, I just can't believe it. It's so beautiful and most importantly, we finished it all by ourselves and we did every single thing by ourselves too!! That's why we're very satisfied with the result. Well done!!! On the plant project, we also did a great job which in the end it make us looks more like an art student than a science student. We had done some decorations on it with some colour papers. Hopefully the teacher would be impressed by it!! Well done to my group (APPLAUSE.....)!!

I've been abandoning this blog for almost 2 months... Perhaps it was holiday, so there's nothing much to say or maybe there were too many memorable things happened.... haha
Hmmm, where shall I start?...Ya, I got my last birthday present from KumWeng@Kelvin on Nov 26. He did told me that he would buy me a present and I thought he was joking. I was surprise when I got the present. It was my favorite idol, Jay Chao's new album (November Chopin)!! Oh my god!! I nearly lost my words. I was so happy but, I felt guilty at the same time 'cause I did not turn up at the primary's friend gathering due to some 'problem'....huuh, it was terrible.. That night, I felt very guilty and also happy at the same time. But, my best friend comforted me and gave me many good advise....e-laine, thanks to you...
Then, 3 days later, I went for the Bing's Family (WaiBing, Laine, KianHong & I) outing to celebrate e-laine's birthday in Sungai Wang Redbox. We were singing (which look more like shouting) non-stop in that small room for 4 hours!! It was crazy!! But, it was a fun moment. I'll surely remember that day... I just can't wait for another such outing anymore.. Singing together, shouting together, the moments in the bus and so on...
Christmas's just over. E-laine will be coming back from Europe in this few more days. I just can’t wait to hear from her. Hope she had a wonderful holiday there. And I also can't wait to shop new year clothes with her and WaiBing. Never mind, I shall wait patiently for them 'cause school will be opening next week. And I hope the time will pass by slowly.... I was feeling very lost today. My mind gone blank and I can’t think of anything else. Guiltiness began to fill up my soul. It’s not because that I had lost in my badminton match today. It’s because of this match that fully awakened me and made me realize that I had wasted my five years time in Bt. 8 and missed out the most important thing in my life…….the life of what a student should have. Bt. 8 is nothing but just a mistake. I have lost too much.
La Salle, thanks to you because you made me realize what I have been missing out all these years. You showed me what a student’s life meant. You gave me the opportunities which I never get in Bt. 8. I wish to find back myself, find back my way and get back the things that I have lost. I hope it’s not too late. I’m not afraid because I know you will escort me all the way to find back my true self.
To Miss Foh, thank you very much for your encouragement in my testimonial result. I know I did not achieve any improvement in my studies this past two years. I have been staying in the same level and as the lessons are getting more and more difficult, my results were getting lower and lower. I’ll make use of this holiday.
I hope that everything is not too late. For me, failure is nothing but a pathway to lead one to success and become a better person. I learn from my mistake i will never never give up………………

Today, I didn't go anywhere. I stay at home all day. I tried to do my maths homework, but the questions were getting more and more difficult. Finally, I gave up. Then, something came into my mind. I quickly switch on my computer. I remembered I took a lot of pictures on the day I went to Sungai Congkak. I want to do some photos editing. Since when I got interested in this kind of work? I don't know. Perhaps it was since I bought the Epson printer last year which came with a cd that provided user a software program for photos editing. I found that the program is quite funny and started to develop an interest in it. After editing the photos, you will find yourselves satisfy with the result. It’s a very good feeling. So, that’s what I did this whole day.
That’s today… I’ll be going to school tomorrow. This week is the final week before my end term holiday start.……………

Yesterday, I followed a one day trip which was organized by CW to Hutan Lipur Sungai Congkak. Again, we were planning to catch insects for our Biology project. We need at least 25 species and…….. it’s not as easy as I thought it’ll be!!! This time, there is no more ‘body guard’ to help us out. Fortunately, we got a talkative plus protective ‘big sister’, WoonMei with us this time. Another two groups followed us there. They are all my classmates except WM. We went there early in the morning. It was raining again on our way there!! The rain really loves me huh?!
We reached there quite early. There were no other visitors yet. Moreover, Hari Raya falls on that day. So, we thought we were the only visitors there. However, we were wrong. A lot of visitors came in later to picnic and camp there. Most of them were Malay and this surprised us. We just wondering what brought them to celebrate Hari Raya in the forest!!!!
Since, it was ‘Hari Raya’, the ‘forest ranger’ were away for holiday and we did not manage to go deep into the forest. We just walk along the little road (specially made for visitors) to look for insects. The road is quite long actually. Half way on the road, I saw a long earthworm…..ew…. it was so scary and ugly and we girls were all shouting at it (normal action huh?....just wondering why we shout at it when it was 1 meter from us!!). It moves in a zigzag way. This is the first time we saw a REAL EARTHWORM!!
Then, we find a suitable place to put down our stuff. It was beside the river. One of the groups managed to catch a beautiful bright green dragonfly by the river. So, my group members decided to try out our luck. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The dragonflies were flying too fast. We had to stand still on the soft wet sand to avoid falling down into the river. This caused us difficult to catch them. Eventually, we gave up.
We went further up to the road. To our amusement, there is a beautiful field there. A lot of dragonflies were flying around the field. We caught eight dragonflies! It’s great!! We also caught a huge ant at the nearby hut. Then, CW screamed. There was a leech on her leg! My goodness… we totally forgot about the existence of leeches in this type of place. Fortunately, the leech was a small one and was just about to suck her blood. ‘Big sis’ quickly pulled it off from her leg. Thanks to her loh….
We went back to our place to have our lunch. It’s already noon… We decided to head down to the playground which is specially made for the children and the old people) … but, who cares? All we want is just to have some fun!! However, instead of going to the playground, our ‘big sis’, WM saw some bicycles outside the head office which is opposite the playground. They were so excited 'cause going up and down the road was quite tiring and a bike might help to save up their energy. SH and I, on the other hand were a little embarrassed 'cause we don’t know how to ride! My friends asked us to learn!! Hey, they can’t expect us to know how to ride at the same day. I mean I go there for the insects, not to learn riding!!..haha, whateverlah!! Anyway, our ‘big sis' offer to ride me down the road (only), HS and I had to walk if we want to go up 'cause it’ll be too tiring if she rides me up. Well, better than none right?
On the way back to our place, we noticed a huge group of Arabian was picnicking on a spot. They were all Muslim. I mean real Muslim. Unlike Malaysian, there, the young and old ladies were wearing ‘tudung’ on their head. I think I’ll love to mix around with them if I get to know them. Even the kids are adorably cute. I also noticed a very good looking young gentleman among the Arabian group (really cant help to look away from his face!!....=P) Hmmm… by looking at their expression, I can tell that they were having a good time together. Hopefully, they'll have a good Raya in M'sia.
Back to our place, Maria, Dinesh and Baran were already enjoying themselves playing in the river. My group members went in to join them. I didn't join in 'cause I just get well from sick. ‘Big sis’ also did not join them. We went back to the field again to take some pictures. On the way back, we saw the good looking Arabian guy again riding on a bike. He was smiling at us!! Oh my god!! He was damn good looking that I think he can kills us girl all by just using his eyes!!
Oh my god, I can’t think of anything else anymore but the good looking Arabian guy….. hehe…ok, lets continue. Then, my ‘big sis’ ride me down to the road. Whoa!! It was very exciting. But, I think it would be more exciting if the one who ride me down the road is the good looking Arabian guy….hehe. Shysss, don’t let my ‘big sis’ hears that. Oh yes, I also saw a group of photographers taking picture beside the river. They really put in their full concentration and a lot of effort on the photographing and this reminded me of my cousin who is also a photographer. I don’t really know anything about photographing but I do like to take pictures. So, here I wish them good luck. I also saw a group of people with huge tattoo all over their body. Wow! I hope they are not there to fight…… Perhaps, the tattoos can help them get ride of the mosquitoes…… lol!!
Later in the evening, our driver told us that he might be a bit late to pick us up. We were starving man. Mc Donald and Pizza Hut came into our mind. We went to the main entrance to call for the delivery…..but, whoever will deliver it miles long into the forest!! It’s just very funny. We did make the call but at the end, we just have to forget about it.
I think that’s all for that day. We reached home quite late at night. My group members caught six dragonflies (two different types), three butterflies (1 small and 2 big), two huge ants and a few more insects which we have never seen before. Although it was tiring, to me, it was a really good experience….ZZZzzzzz (hopefully, the good looking Arabian guy would come in my dream!!)zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz……………………..

31st October 2005
As what have been planned, I went to Redbox with my ‘mother’ and ‘daughter’ to celebrate my belated birthday. We were a bit late and it was raining heavily on our way to that place. Haizzz…. rain again. I’m beginning to realize that the rain is following up with my activities. Anyway, thanks god 'cause everything turn out right. In that small room, we were like 3 ‘sakai’ (that’s how my ‘daughter’ described us). We sang our voice out and still, we can’t get enough of it. Two hours is just too short!!! Never mind, we promise that it would be longer next time.
Later on, we went for shopping. My ‘daughter’ bought a sexy sweet pink dress. She plans to dress up like the heroin in the Korean Drama ‘Full House’. That style is quite nice and I think it is suitable for her. Then, they bought me a dark pink shirt as my birthday present. My ‘mother’ chose it for me and I like it very much. I was quite touched by them because they paid everything for me. From breakfast to transportation, then to Redbox…… I think it’s the most precious birthday gift I ever had. Thank you very much, my FRIENDS!!!!

Haha, my ‘daughter’ e-laine finally wished me happy birthday last night. I’m so happy that she still finds way to reach me on the phone despite running out of money in her prepaid card. Here, to those who’s having their birthday or those whose birthday is just around the corner, I hope that all of them can have a nice and wonderful year and enjoy life and also always be thankful to our parents who brought us here.
My MUET test has ended today. I can’t predict the result. But, I hope I can get at least band 4 because I don’t want to sit for the test for the second time. Hmmm… I also don’t want to think much about it. In other words, ‘sun qi zhi ran’ bah
I’m going back to Ipoh today to celebrate my cousin’s baby son’s ‘mun yue’ (that’s what we call in Cantonese). I’ll be coming back tomorrow and will also celebrate my belated birthday on Monday in Redbox with my ‘daughter and mother’…hehe. I just can’t wait for it!!!

I just came back from the forest (Hutan Simpan Bukit Gasing, which is not far from our school). I have been there with my friends (CW & HY), my ‘son’ (ah Bon, my SMKBL family tree) and our classmate (a lasallian, the big funny guy who acts as our body guard and also as a road guide) to catch insects for our next term BIOLOGY project. It was raining heavily again that time. This time we didn’t get wet cause we were protected under the tree. While in the forest, we girls were shouting when we saw insects (small and huge 1). We were actually afraid to catch it!! But, our ‘body guard’ saves the day. Since, we were afraid, we brought along ‘RIDSECT’……but, it was useless cause, once we spray on it, the insects will flew away or fell onto the forest ground and it was difficult to track it. We realize that, when we were afraid of the insects, at the same time, the insects were also afraid of us (imagine!!....we were like playing hide and seek with those insects). This is FUNNY… Then, we also talked about some taboos (pantang larang) while we were in the forest. For instance:-

  • we must not call out our friends by their name,

  • we must pray before we go in

  • we must not bring things that aren’t belong to us out from the place (excluding plants and insects..hehe)..etc etc
It’s just some kind of believe. If you believe, you follow the rules, if you don’t, then just act like normal.
This is the first time I feel like a student. Doing what a student suppose to do like doing researches, really getting involve in experiments and also school’s activities … …I’ve never do things like this before in my previous school. I don’t like being in school last time and always stay away from all co-curricular activities but, this time I feel like coming to school everyday cause la sale gave us every opportunity to get involve…. thanks to la salle!!! I’ll never regret doing Form 6 (Pre-U)…SAPIENTIA ETCARITAS…thank you!!!!!!

I’m having basketball practice in school today morning. I was very lazy to go to school at first because I slept late last night which made me hard to wake up early in the morning. It’s about 6 am man!! However, I forced myself to get up from the bed. It was drizzling that time and looks like it’ll rain heavily in any times. I don’t want the practice to be cancelled again like last week where I was told to go home once I reached the school. Fortunately, it didn’t happen. Although it was still raining when I reached school, the leader asked us to stay and wait for the rain to stop. Thanks god! After waiting for around 15 minutes, the rain stops. Then, we headed off to the basketball court. My goodness, the court was wet. Anyway, we didn’t care much about it as we were very excited to start the game. Moreover, we have been canceling a few practices due to the exam weeks. So, by hook or by crook, we must play at least one game today. We started off with a friendly match. After a while, it started drizzling again. But, we still go on with the game. Playing under the rain huh… it was my first time actually. We got soaked up by the rain and sweat. It was only at the end of the game that I realized how smelly we were….EWwww…. IMAGINE!! However it was a FUN morning.

Later on, my friend, CheeWei came to my house. We online for a while. After that, we went to IOI mall. I went to the ATM centre to take out some money. However, I got some problem with my card, so, we went into the bank. Something funny happened. As we pass through the glass door that time, she knocked into that door. Since the glass door is transparent, she did not notice that the glass door was half closed. It was funny to me but not to her...haha. However, little did I know that something was awaiting me. In the bank, I showed the card I used at the ATM machine just now to the clerk there. Then only I realized that the card I used was my IC!!! That means I’d used THE WRONG CARD. How STUPID!! This time, i felt very stupid…stupid, stupid, stupid. But, I can’t blame myself for it as the ATM card looks very similar to my IC. Then….. guess who we met in the popular bookstore? We met our former mathematics teacher, Pn. Laurett. We chat for while, recalling back some of the old day memories in SMKBL.

I was very tired once I reached home…. Then, I received a call from my cousin brother, Boyz. He asked me to book 2 movie tickets for him. Watching movie? That's a good idea!! So, I told him that I wanna join him. He said ok and he promised to treat me for the ticket since we have not seen each other for so long. How good of him… later on, he told me that he is going with a girl too!! Finally, finally, finally, he plans to have a date with a girl since he last rejected a few girls… ‘geng leh’. So, to avoid myself from becoming their ‘ding tang dam’, I decided not to join him for the movie with a ‘condition’ that he must bring me to 1 U to meet with the MI’s top three finalists next Saturday. Again, he said ‘okay’… love him forever!!...hehe…

Later on, I have to glue myself on the chair again to finish up my chemistry and mathematics homework. Probably until midnight again……

WHAT A DAY!!...................................................................................................................

My chemistry teacher is not a very approachable person. Hate to say, most of my classmates do not like her by the way she spoke and also by the way she judged us. However, it’s undeniable that she is indeed a very good teacher. She knows the appropriate way of teaching and we are well connected with her lesson in class. Believe it or not, we did not even need any revision book or tuition for chemistry!! The notes that she prepared for us are already good enough. After a month of teaching, something happen between our class and the upper six class and she got very upset by the way we handle the problem. To avoid further misunderstanding between us, my friends and I decided to talk to her and finally, she understood the whole situation. I’m glad that we managed to make it clear for her. From that day onwards, things got better between us and she even started joking around with us in class although she did showed some of her old attitude at us sometimes. Whatever… we have to show our respect to her anyway and like it or not, we need to accept the way she is…..moreover, she is a real dedicate ‘chemist’ teacher who make use of every single minutes and seconds!!!
Hey, below are some of the funny things that she shared with us. Have fun with CHEMISTRY!!!!

WOMAN

A woman’s a creature both evil and good,
But, too complicated to be understood.

An angel when loving, a devil when mad,
A woman can make you both happy and sad.

Oh woman, oh woman, whatever can she be?
Whatever she is, she’s necessary.

Afraid of cockroach, she’ll scream at a mouse,
But she’ll tackle a husband as big as a house.

She’ll take him for better.
She’ll take him for worse,
She’ll bust his open,
And then be his nurse.

She’s bashful, deceitful, keen-sighted and blind,
simple and crafty, cruel and kind.

In the morning, she win, in the evening, she won’t,
You’re always a thinking she wins, but she won’t.

MAN

A man is a creature we can’t overlook,
As easy to read as a page in a book.

He’ll boast and he’ll brag of the woman he spurned,
But like a doorknob his head can be turned.

Oh man, oh man,
Any woman will say,
Whatever he is we like him that way.

As strong as an ox, as meek as a pub,
He’s just a small boy who will never grow up.

A leader by day, he can make business hum,
Then wind up by night a woman’s thumb.
